Mary A. Buckner was born May 29th in the year 1832 and died Sept. 23rd 1892, age 60 years 3 months and 25 days. She was united in marriage to James H. Vandivier in the year of 1848. There was born unto them eight children, five sons and three daughters. She joined the Baptist church about the year 1862 and lived a faithful Christian, devoted mother and true companion until death. She leaves a husband and eight children to mourn her loss.
