William Vanblaricum committed suicide at his home in Union township on Wednesday morning about 6 o’clock by shooting himself in the head with a shot gun. Mr. Vanblaricum suffered a severe sunstroke about two years ago, since which time he has not been altogether right and has often threatened to take his life. These threats had caused the family to keep a close watch over him but on Wednesday morning he succeeded in securing a gun, with which one of his sons had been hunting, and going out behind a smoke house he placed the muzzle against his forehead and pulled the trigger, blowing the top of his head almost entirely off.
