Survivors: husband Fred C. Thompson; children Fred James, Mikael D., Daniel Mark Thompson, Sharon E. Vess; twin sister Etta Fay Miller; sister Margaret Ellen Scott; half sisters Carolyn Ruth, Marilyn Ann Tomey; two grandchildren.
