Jane A. Taylor
      Jane A. Taylor, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, 
at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was a 
resident of Edinburgh. 
      She was born Dec. 15, 1928, in Shelby County.  
Her parents were Raymond and Alta (Stainbrook) 
Deer.  Survivors include a son, Zachary Ted Taylor of 
Noblesville; a daughter, Mari Jane Morris of Edinburgh; 
two granddaughters; and one great-grandson. 
      She was employed by Edinburgh Wright-Hageman 
Public Library for 12 years.  She had previously retired 
from Arvin Industries in Franklin.
      She was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church 
of Smithland and Franklin Chapter 439 Order of the Eastern 
Star and was past president of Edinburgh Tri Kappa.
      The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a service at 
3 p.m. Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 
E. Main Cross St. in Edinburgh.  Friends may call from 
1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. 
 Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

      EDINBURGH - Jane A. Taylor, 75, of Edinburgh 
died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Methodist 
Hospital in Indianapolis.
      She had worked the past 12 years at Edinburgh Wright-
Hageman Public Library and previously retired from 
Arvin Industries in Franklin.  She was a member of Mount 
Gilead Baptist Church in Smithland, Order of Eastern Star 
in Franklin and past president of Edinburgh Tri-Kappa. 
      The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Eskew-
Eaton Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Burton of-
ficiating.  Calling will be from 1 p.m. until service time 
Tuesday.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
      Born in Shelby County Dec. 15, 1928, she was the 
daughter of Raymond and Alta Stainbrook Deer.
      Survivors include a son, Zachary Ted Taylor of 
Noblesville; a daughter, Mari Jane Morris of Edinburgh; 
granddaughters, Danielle Sneed and Samantha Morris of 
Edinburgh; and a great-grandson, Dakota Sneed of Edinburgh.
      She was preceded in death by her parents.
