SAMMIE LOIS RYON

Sammie Lois Ryon, 58, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2003, in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Trafalgar.

She was born June 15, 1945, in Franklin. Her father was James Elijah Taylor. Her mother is Ezell Baskerville of Columbus. She married Robert John Ryon. He survives. Other survivors include a stepfather, Otho Baskerville of Columbus; two sons, Tim John Ryon of Indianapolis and John Edward Ryon of Greenwood; two daughters, Sharon Kay Fisher of New Castle and Carol Marie Balderas of Indianapolis; two sisters, Kay Thompson of Columbus and Wanda Finley of Taylorsville; two brothers, Ronald Taylor of North Vernon and Jeff Taylor of Fort Myers, Fla.; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Stargell of Franklin.

She attended Nineveh High School.

She was employed by Bob Ryon Pest Control as a secretary and bookkeeper.

She was a member of Trinity Holiness Tabernacle.

The Rev. Jerome Baker will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Holiness Tabernacle, 2364 E. State Road 252 in Trafalgar. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the tabernacle. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. Alpha Funeral Service in Indianapolis is handling arrangements.
