MRS. EMMA RUNYON DIED TODAY AT FRANKLIN

Mrs. Emma Runyon for many years a resident of this community, died at 2:00 A.M. today at the Janie Nursing Home at Franklin.

Funeral services at the Mutz Funeral Home here at 2:00 P.M. Thursday will be in charge of the Rev. William Holler. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Mrs. Runyon was born in Shelby County November 23, 1867. Her parents were Joseph and Mary DeHart Anderson.

On June 23, 1886 she married George Runyon who died August 30, 1937. He was formerly the Edinburg Town Marshall.

Surviving children are George Runyon of Columbus and Mrs. Stephen Windsor of Indianapolis. There are six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Sisters and brothers, all of Edinburg, are Mrs. Elmer Pruitt, Mrs. Lillian Tanner, Mrs. Belle VanDorn, Mrs. Susie Roades and George Anderson.

Mrs. Runyon was a member of the Edinburg Methodist Church.
