Welby Richeson
Dies In Hospital

NINEVEH — Welby P. Richeson, 69, a former carpenter, died early today in the Johnson County Me­morial Hospital after being ill sever­al years.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Clark Funeral Home in Mor­gantown. Calling hours are after 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Nineveh Cemetery.

Richeson was a member of Nineveh Masonic Lodge No. 317, and the former Methodist Church there. During World War I, he served in France with the Second Division of the Marines.

Born near Columbus, Feb. 24, 1897, he spent most of his life in Nineveh. His parents were Marion H. and Sarah Coffman Richeson.

He is survived by his widow, the former Mary Oliver, and five chil­dren, Mrs. Floyd Richards, of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Edward Sosbe of Rome, Ga., Mrs. Darrell Clayton of Martinsville, John Richeson of Ok­inawa, and Mark Richeson of Nin­eveh. Two brothers, Young Richeson of Franklin and Olda Richeson of Morgantown, and 10 grandchildren also survive.
