Geraldine Rafferty
      Geraldine Rafferty, 76, of Nashville, 
died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Brown 
County Nursing Home in Nashville.
      Born Jan. 31, 1928, in Johnson County, 
she was the daughter of Samuel T. and 
Flo (Prior) Cline. She married William 
Francis Rafferty on Jan. 8, 1948, and 
he preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1993.
      Survivors include three daughters, 
Aggie Quick of Memphis, Tenn., and Flo 
Myers and Margaret Klee, both of Houston, 
Texas; three sons, William Anderson of 
Butlerville, Francis Rafferty of Colum-
bus, and Norman Rafferty of Indianapolis; 
three sisters, Faye Allison of Paoli, Myrtle 
Hubbard, and June Goodwin of Nineveh; 
one brother, Roger Cline, of Indiana; 23 
grandchildren; and several great-grand-
children. 
      She was preceded in death by one son, 
Dale Rafferty; three brothers; and two sisters.
      Mrs. Rafferty was a homemaker and 
had been employed at Columbus Sewing 
Factory for 18 years. 
      Mrs. Rafferty was a member of St. Joseph 
Catholic Church.
      Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday 
at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. 
Harrison St. 
      Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. 
Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 
E. Broadway St. 
      Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic 
Cemetery.

      She was born Jan. 31, 1928, in Johnson 
County.  Her parents were Samuel T. and 
Flo (Prior) Cline.  She married William 
Francis Rafferty on Jan. 8, 1948.  He

funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway St. in 
Shelbyville.  Burial will be at St. Joseph 
Catholic Cemetery in Shelbyville.
