Marilyn A. (Brokaw) Pugh
Marilyn A. (Brokaw) Pugh, 
83, died Monday, Nov. 12, 
2001, at Greenwood Village 
South Pavilion. She was 
a resident of Greenwood.

She was born Aug. 22, 
1918, in Indianapolis. Her 
parents were Virgil Springer 
and Anna (Haislup) Brokaw. 
She married Charles T. 
Pugh on Feb. 14, 1941, in 
Indianapolis. He preceded 
her in death Feb. 10, 1990. 
Survivors include one daughter, 
Barbara Ann (Pugh) Taylor 
of Greenwood; one brother, 
Robert Brokaw of Escondido, 
Calif.; one sister, Betty Shay 
of Indianapolis, and two 
grandchildren. She was pre-
ceded in death by a brother, 
James Brokaw.

She was employed as a 
supervisor for several years 
by Indiana Bell. She was 
also a homemaker.

She was a member of South-
port Presbyterian Church in 
Indianapolis. She was a 
member of the Presbyterian 
Women’s Association and 
Women’s Bible Study within 
the church.

The Rev. Kevin Bausman will 
conduct a service at 11:30 
a.m. Thursday at Wilson St. 
Pierre Funeral Service & 
Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. 
Friends may call from 4 to 
8 p.m. Wednesday at the 
funeral home. Burial will 
be at Greenwood Cemetery.

byterian Church, 1427 
Southview Drive, Indianapolis, 
IN 46227.
