Jasper Pruitt, age fifty-one years, died Monday morning at his home in Edinburg, of neuralgia of the heart. He had been sick but a few days and his death came as a surprise to most of the citizens. Deceased was a brother of Pleasant, David and Jacob Pruitt, of Mrs. John Sargeant of Columbus and Mrs. E. C. Thompson of Irvington.
