The M. E. church has sustained a great loss by the death of Dunham Pritchard—one of its old and most faithful members. Sometime before his demise, however, he made ample provision for his name to live on among us, by bequeathing to the church twenty acres of land, the proceeds of which go to help defray the expenses incurred in the work. This act is a token of his devotion to his church and the hope he cherished that it might be perpetuated.
