Little Tony Price, two years of age, son of the late Jefferson Price, died at his grandfather’s, Mansfield Moore, Friday evening and was buried at Beech Grove Sunday. The little son is sweetly sleeping with the parents in the lonely silent home awaiting the resurrection morn.

Notes: The Johnson County Indiana WPA Birth Index, 1882–1920, referencing Book H-4, page 29, records that a white male infant was born to Jeff M. Price and Emma Moore on 30 Oct 1898.

Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Morgantown, Jackson Township, Johnson County [sic], Certificate and Record of Death, Health Officer’s Record Number 25, page 192 records that Tony Rerdicil Price died at about 7 p. m. on 11 May 1900 in Hensley Township from eclampsia, caused by acute tubercular meningitis, aged one year and eight months. He was male, white, and single, born in Indiana. His father’s name was Jefferson Price, and his mother’s maiden name Emeline Moore, both born in Indiana. The informant was J. A. Moore. He was buried in Beech Grove, N. S, Adams, undertaker.
