OBITUARY.

Joseph Price died at his home Monday evening, April 11, after an illness of two weeks of pneumonia. He was born in Richland County, Ohio, in 1834, and came to Morgan County with his parents in 1838. He was married to Martha A. Ruffin, March 30, 1854. To them were born seven children, three of whom survive him. He united with the church twenty years ago last Jan., and had been a deacon of Beech Grove church seventeen years, ever living a faithful Christian life. The community mourns his loss, and all testify to the worth of his character. His life was unpretentious and unassuming, and he was universally respected by all who knew him. The place he filled in the home is left vacant and can only be filled when the family circle is drawn in eternity. The funeral services were held in Beech Grove church the following afternoon, conducted by Rev. Geo. Ragsdale, after which the remains were interred in the cemetery near the church.
