James B. Polston

James B. Polston, 90, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at Todd Aikens Center of
Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.

He was born Dec. 23, 1911, in Russell County, Ky. He married Eva Pearl (Smith)
Polston on March 18, 1933. She survives. Other survivors include three sons,
Jimmy Polston of Mooresville, Garry Polston of New Castle and Larry Polston of
Versailles, Ky.; four daughters, Virginia Polston, Marie Roberts and Margaret
Wiggington, all of Indianapolis, and Phyllis Wiggington of Franklin; 15
grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a
grandson.

He farmed and raised dairy cattle on a family farm, retiring in 1980.

He enjoyed singing and attended church services.

He was a member of Mount Hope Separate Baptist Church in Jamestown, Ky.

The Revs. Bobby Conner and Danny Bailey will conduct a service at Bernard
Funeral Home in Russell Springs, Ky. Service and visitation times have not been
determined
