Thomas Carl Perdue

Thomas Carl Perdue, 52, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at his residence in Greenwood.

He was born Jan. 11, 1950, in Knightstown. His parents are Henry Lee Perdue of Hot Springs, Ark., and Ruth Irene (Hopkins) LaMastus of Indianapolis. He married Gale Lynn McElroy on Jan. 10, 1975, in Greenwood. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Angie DeLynn Perdue of Beech Grove; a sister, Carol Ann Gilman of Lakeville; two brothers, Paul Allen Perdue of Oakley, Calif., and Ken Lee Perdue of Carmel; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepfather, Jack LaMastus, on April 15, 1997; a brother, Henry Gerald Perdue; and a son, James "Jimmy" Perdue, in December 1972"

He attended Center Grove schools.

He was employed by Indiana State Highway Department for 13 years and by AlliedSignal in Franklin as a laborer for five years.

The Rev. Marion Glover will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in White River Township.
