Uncle Evan Peggs died Saturday evening at the home of his son, J. W. Peggs. Deceased had been a sufferer for many years. He had reached the ripe age of eighty-four years. The funeral occurred at the Mullikin graveyard, near Union, Monday afternoon, his remains being placed by the side of his wife, who preceded him about forty years ago. E. G. Barnhizer conducted the funeral.
