SCOTT PATTERSON
      DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Former Washington Town-
    ship Resident is Dead

    Word has been received here of
the death of Scott Patterson, 63
former Washington township resi-
dent, which occurred Thursday
night at his home in Los Angeles.
Calif.
    Born in Washington township.
Sept. 13. 1880, he was the son of
Joel and Emmazette Patterson. He
was married to Mabel Gundrum in
1911. Mr. Patterson was a Thirty-
Second Degree Mason. For eight
years he served as city manager at
Burbank, Cal.
    Surviving are the widow; two
brothers, Louis Patterson, of Wash-
ington township, and Arthur Pat-
terson, of Edinburg.
    Burial will be in Glendale, Cal.,
but the time of the funeral has not
been learned here.
