The funeral services of Mrs. Robert Parkhurst were conducted by Rev. John C. Miller, after which the remains were interred in the Deer cemetery.

The 1880 US Federal Census for Harrison, Morgan, Indiana records thirty-two-year-old, Indiana-born Robert S. Parkhurst, his twenty-two-year-old, Indiana-born wife Sarah J. Parkhurst and their eleven-month old, Indiana-born daughter Eva S. Parkhurst.
