A telegram was received here by the family of E. T. Ogle, Wednesday mor­ning, announcing that that gentleman had suddenly died at Bedford, this state. His death was due to heart disease. Deceased came to this city from Ten­nessee some two years ago, and was the general agent for a large southern lumber firm, and at the time of his death was at Bedford looking after the interests of the company. He was sixty-two years of age and leaves a wife and one daughter residing in this city and a son in Tennessee, besides other rela­tives, among whom are Mrs. E. E. Craft, a sister, residing here, and Rev. Albert Ogle, a brother, who was for­merly pastor of the Baptist church here, but who now resides in Indianapolis. The remains were brought here for bur­ial yesterday.
