Death of Mrs. Needham.

Mrs. Malinda Needham died Friday afternoon at her home near Needham station. She had been in poor health for a long time but no fears of sudden death were entertained by her friends until early last week when she was stricken with paralysis. A second stroke Friday morning resulted in death a few hours afterward.

Deceased was the widow of Noah Needham and mother of W. H. Needham, both of whom are remembered as prominent citizens during their lifetime.

Mrs. Needham was in her seventy-seventh year. Her husband’s death occurred in 1870 and that of her son in 1890. She leaves a large estate of 900 acres of good land, besides houses, lots and personal property.

The funeral services were held at Second Mt. Pleasant church, Sunday morning at 11 o’clock, conducted by Rev. P. O. Duncan, attended by a large number of relatives and friends.
