Helen E. Mutz
      Helen E. Mutz, 85, died Friday, March 28, 1997, at her home in Edinburgh.
      She was born Dec. 16, 1911, in Bartholomew County.  Her parents were the
Rev. G. H. Edwards and Ardella (Coy) Edwards.  She married Everett Sunman
Oct. 8, 1933.  He preceded her in death March 29, 1979.  She married Dale
Mutz Aug. 22, 1982.  He survives.  Other survivors include a son, William
Sunman of Kankakee, Ill.; two daughters, Virgie Pitts of Loudon, Tenn.,
and Suzanne Dolson of Springfield, Va.; a stepson, Moffett Mutz of
Potomac, Md.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four
stepgrandchildren.  She also was preceded in death by three brothers and
two sisters.
      She worked for the U.S. Accounting Office in Washington, D.C., for 25
years, retiring in 1977.  She also worked for five years for the U.S. Army
at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis.
      She was a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church and was a Methodist
member for 75 years.
      She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees
and Edinburgh American Legion Auxiliary.
      The Revs. Byron Fritz and Nan Chizmar will conduct a service at 1 p.m.
today at Edinburgh United Methodist Church.  Burial will be at Rest Haven
Cemetery in Edinburgh.
      Memorials may be made to Edinburgh United Methodist Church Building Fund,
107 W. Campbell St., Edinburgh, Ind. 46124.
      Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh is handling the arrangements.
