Judy Murphy, 58, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at her residence in Edinburgh.

She was born May 21, 1944, in Fredricksburg. Her parents were Thomas and Stella (Greenlee) Booker. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Tindall of Borden and John R. Franklin of Edinburgh; two daughters, Tina Hoffmeister of Borden and Judy Scott of Toronto, Ohio; a brother, Allen Booker of New Albany; nine sisters, Jean Dennie, Margret Harmon and Faye Nelson, all of New Albany, Charlotte Pickett and Brenda Nichols, both of Edinburgh, Frankie Renfro and Iris Davis, both of Knoxville, Tenn., Mary McDonald of New Salisbury and Janet Haycox of Montgomery, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was employed by Lear Corp. in Edinburgh as a press operator.

She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1832 in Jeffersonville.

The Revs. Mark Myers and Grover Myers will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Apostolic Tabernacle Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh and from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
