MARY LOUISE MUTZ
      Mary Louise Mutz, 75, of Edinburgh, wife of 
Dale Mutz, owner of the former Mutz Funeral 
Home at Edinburgh for many years, died Thurs-
day, Feb. 11 at Bartholomew County Hospital 
at Columbus.
      She was a registered nurse and had worked 
at hospitals at New Albany and Seymour before 
her retirement.  She also assisted her husband 
in operating the funeral home.
      Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. 
Saturday by the Rev. Michael Welch at Holy 
Trinity Roman Catholic Church at Edinburgh, 
with burial at Rest Haven Cemetery.
      A prayer service was conducted at the 
funeral home at 8:30 o'clock Friday.
      Mrs. Mutz was born at Washington Jan. 
22, 1907, the daughter of Victor and Barbara 
Kramer Bordenet.  She was married to Mutz 
Dec. 27, 1945.
      She was a graduate of Washington High 
School and nursing school at Louisville and 
was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
the church's Altar Society, Edinburgh Study 
Club and was an associate member of Kappa 
Kappa Kappa Sorority.
      Surviving with her husband are a daughter, 
Marie Manual of Redding, Calif.; a stepson, 
Moffett Mutz of Potomac, Md.; two sisters, 
Anna Keller of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Sister 
Louise Gertrude of Indianapolis; five brothers, 
Ollie Bordenet of Tullahoma, Eugene Bordenet 
of Washington, Bernard Bordenet of Indian-
apolis, Leo Bordenet of Coatesville and Ernie 
Bordenet of Estil Springs, Tenn., five grand-
children and one great-grandchild.
