Elias Roland Morris Elias Roland Morris, 87, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007. He was a resident of Tavares, Fla., and a former resident of Indianapolis. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Israel; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Richard and Nanny Mae (Smith) Morris; his wife, Gladys Morris; a son, Gene Morris; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter. A graveside service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Acton Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at G.H.
