Mrs. Myrtle Moore, wife of Aquilla A. Moore, died Friday morning at 3 o’clock at her home in Trafalgar, after a brief illness from rheumatism. She was the daughter of Peter M. Pitcher and was born June 30, 1873, being at the time of her death twenty-three years old. She was married to Aquilla A. Moore, June 30, 1892 and afterwards moved with her husband to Texas, remaining there until recently, when they returned to Trafalgar. Deceased leaves a husband and two small chil­dren. Funeral services were held Sunday at 10 o’clock at the Baptist church in Trafalgar, conducted by Rev. T. A. Childs. Burial at First Mt. Plea­sant.

The funeral of Mrs. Myrtle Pitcher Moore, Sunday, was largely attended. Mrs. Moore was born June 3, 1873, in Trafalgar. She was married at Indi­anapolis, June 30th, 1892, to Acquilla A. Moore. They resided in Texas until recently, when they returned intending to make this their future home. She died on Friday morning after an illness of ten days. A few hours before her death she sang, “Nearer my God to thee, nearer to thee.” A husband and two dear little children, a loving father and mother, a brother and a sister mourn her early departure. Funeral ser­vices were held in the Baptist church, conducted by her former pastor, Rev. T. A. Childs, after which her remains were laid to rest in the Mt. Pleasant ceme­tery.
