Mrs. John R. Moore, who was stricken with paralysis a few weeks ago, died Saturday afternoon at one o’clock. Organic heart trouble prevented her rallying from the stroke of paralysis and was the immediate cause of death. Deceased was a daughter of Jacob Barnhizer, deceased, and was born in this city in 1852. She was married to John R. Moore at Acton in 1872. Be­sides the husband she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Judson Carr, her mother, Mrs. Stoops, and a sister in Shelbyville, and two brothers, E. G. and Frank Barnhizer. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the First Bap­tist church conducted by Rev. J. A. Knowlton.
