The death of Mrs. James McIntyre occurred Sunday at her home in East Franklin caused by consumption. She was about twenty-six years of age and leaves a husband and two children. The funeral was held Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. L. P Marshall.

Indiana Marriages, 1811-2007, database with images, records that when Frances (McIntyre) McDowell married Melville E Lantz on 3 March 1923 in Clark County, Indiana, she stated that she was previously married, that Mr. McDowell died in 1910, and that her parents were James McIntyre and Kizzey [sic] Glover.
