McClain, and their children, twenty-year-old, Indiana-born teacher Josie, sixteen-year-old, Indiana-born farm laborer Charles G. and fourteen-year-old, Illinois-born Henry W. McClain.
Indiana Marriages, 1780–1992, database, records that when Charles G. McClain married Emma C. W. Lasman on 7 Jun 1905 in Marion County, Indiana, he stated that his parents were Jacob McClain and Sarah J. Cummings.
