REV. J.C. McCASLIN DIES
AT TERRE HAUTE
Relatives have received word of the death of the Rev. J. Carl McCaslin at the home of his son, William Wesly [sic] McCaslin near Terre Haute. His death occurred Tuesday, Jan 22 [1946]. He had been ill for sometime.
A native of the Hurricane community, he was the son of Wesley and Mellisa [sic] Winchester McCaslin, and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
The Rev. Mr. McCaslin had retired several years ago from active ministry.
The widow survives with the son and a daughter.
