Mrs. Robert Lyons died at her home east of Greenwood Tuesday morning. The funeral took place from the Christian church at Greenwood on Wednesday morning.

The 1880 US Federal Census for Pleasant, Johnson County, Indiana records sixty-year-old, Kentucky-born farmer Robert R. Lyons, his forty-five-year-old wife Mary J Lyons and their Indiana-born children, nine-year-old Effie C., six-year-old William D., and four-year-old Martha J. Lyons.
Indiana Marriages, 1780–2007, database, records that, when Wm. Lyons, born in 1876 in Greenwood, Indiana, married Iva G. Coverdill on 24 Feb 1920, he stated that his parents were Robt. R. Lyons and Mary J. Pierce.
