Uncle Harvey S. Lyons, one of our pioneers, aged seventy-nine, departed this life Wednesday morning at 1 o’clock. Funeral at Fairview Thursday at 10:30 and burial in Lyons’ cemetery. Mr. Lyons came to this county sixty-seven years ago, residing in White River township. Our county, state and nation loses a Christian, true man and neighbor, and the Democratic party a staunch member. One by one they go.
