May Lowery, 84, Northport, N.Y., died Tuesday at Huntington Hospital, Huntington, N.Y.
She was born in Buckeye, Ky., June 14, 1900 to John William and Myrtle (East) Hardin. She was formerly of Edinburgh and Bradenton, Fla.
She married Co. Hugh Lowery in 1921. He died in 1972.
She is survived by a son, Cmdr. Hugh H. Lowery, Northport, N.Y.; a brother, Clarence Hardin, Edinburgh, and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh, with the Rev. Hugh Owen officiating.
Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, is in charge of arrangements.
