Mrs. Leach, wife of D. A. Leach, died Wednesday night at her home in Indianapolis, after a long and painful illness. The remains were brought to this city yesterday evening on the 4 o’­clock train and taken to the home of Morell Tilson and wife, where funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock this (Friday) morning. Burial in Greenlawn cemetery.

The 1880 US Federal Census for Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana records thirty-two-year-old, Indiana-born attorney-at-law David A. Leach, his twenty-four-year-old, Indiana-born wife Elzora Leach and their one-year-old, Indiana-born son Dallas Leach.

Indiana Marriages, 1780–1992, database, records that when Dallas Allen Leach married Nettie Elizabeth Smith on 11 Oct 1906 in Marion County, Indiana, he stated his parents’ names were David Allen Leach and Elzora A. Tilson (citing reference 155, FHL microfilm 499387.)
