Date of birth:  About 1865
Date of death: 7 Sep 1890 – Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana

The Franklin Democrat, Friday, September 12, 1890,
Volume XXXI Number 12, page 1 column 5

Mrs. Abbie Lagrange, wife of Jasper Lagrange, died at her home four miles northwest of this city Sunday night about nine o’clock of blood poisoning. Mrs. Lagrange had been ill for several months past and in June last submitted to a difficult surgical operation by which she received temporary relief and recovered sufficiently to be able to go about. Lately, however, blood poison made its appearance and she sank rapidly until the end came at the hour mentioned. Mrs. Lagrange was a daughter of Rev. and Mrs. A. S. Robertson, of Richmond, and was married to Jasper Lagrange at Worthington, then her home, about four years ago. She leaves a husband and one child, a little daughter of two years. Mrs. Lagrange was a true Christian lady and had a large circle of friends throughout the county by whom her death is deeply regretted. The funeral took place from the residence of Wm. H. Lagrange on Tuesday morning at nine o’clock, the services being conducted by Rev. L. P. Marshall, of the Presbyterian church, of which denomination the deceased was a prominent member.
