GLEN LACY

The Rev. Robert Mazzola will conduct funeral services Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Vandivier-Parsley Funeral Home in Franklin for Glen G. Lacy, 317 East Center Cross Street, Edinburgh, who took his life at his home Monday morning. Mr. Lacy had been in poor health over a period of time.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be today from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a favorite charity.

Mr. Lacy was born June 9, 1909, in Missouri, the son of Francis and Mary Carolyn Gibb Lacy. He was married in 1939 to Annette Hand of Edinburgh.

The deceased is survived by the wife; three sons, John R. Lacy of Martinsville, James H. Lacy of Morristown and Joseph G. Lacy of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Paul Lacy of Granite City, Ill., a sister, Thelma Mochel of Shelbyville, Ill., and a brother-in-law, Roy Lutes of Muncie.

He was a member of the Indianapolis Moose Lodge and was a technical representative of Cash Register Company in Indianapolis retiring in 1973. The couple moved to Edinburgh in 1974 after residing in Indianapolis 25 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
