Services Set for Mrs. Law. Greenwood Resident Dies Early Thursday. After one year of failing health, death claimed the life of Mrs. Jesse (sic) Park Law, age 71, in the Eastern Star hospital at the Masonic Home in Franklin on Thursday morning at 4 o’clock.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Burkhart Funeral home where friends may call any time after Friday noon. The Rev. J. Kenneth Forbes, pastor of Greenwood Methodist church, will be in charge of the rites. Burial will follow in Greenwood cemetery.

A resident of Greenwood her entire lifetime, Mrs. Law was born August 13, 1880. She was the daughter of Lee McKee and Luella Noble Park. She attended Greenwood schools. On January 1, 1897*, she was united in marriage to James Law in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Mr. Law died April 22, 1949.

Survivors include one son, Duane Law, and one daughter, Mrs. Fox Thompson, both of Greenwood; four sisters, Mrs. Everett McIntire, Mrs. George Garver and Mrs. John Havens, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. John Eddy, of Greenwood, and two grandchildren. Mrs. Law was a member of the Greenwood Methodist church.
