Mrs. [sic] Malinda Kyle, age 82 years, was found dead in bed Monday morning at the home of George Kyle, in the south edge of Edinburg. Death caused by heart trouble.
Notes: The Bartholomew County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, referencing Book HD-5, page 34, records that Malinda Kyle, an eighty-one-year-old white female died 8 Aug 1898 in Bartholomew County.
The 1850–1880 US Censuses for German, Bartholomew County, Indiana record Malinda Kyle as a single woman born in Pennsylvania, living first in the household of her father Nathan Kyle and then in the households of her siblings.
