––––

Henry Koch, of Edinburg, a well-known tailor who at one time lived in Franklin, died Sunday while at Indianapolis, where he had gone to undergo a surgical operation. Two years ago, while acting as Santa Claus at an entertainment, the cotton took fire and burned one hand severely. From this he had never recovered and it was to have a surgical operation performed on this hand that took him to Indianapolis. The immediate cause of his death, however, was kidney trouble. Deceased was about sixty years old. Funeral services were held Wednesday, at Edinburg, under the auspices of the K. of P. lodge.
