    DIES AT HOME HERE

Funeral Services for City Resi-
      dent to Be Held at Mortu-
              ary Saturday.

    Ill for the past six weeks with
a complication of ailments which
developed from a heart affectation
James Walter Knight died at his
home, 417 west Washington street
Thursday afternoon at 6:00
o’clock.
    Born in Shelbyville, he had
spent most of his life here. He
was a son of William and Elvira
(Golding) Knight and was born
October 1, 1876. He was aged
65  years at the time of death.
    On August 21, 1898, he was
united in marriage to Miss Fan-
nie Pettibone and became the fa-
ther of six children, who, with
the widow, survive.
The children are Mrs. Tren-
ton Hatton, this city; Mrs. Ray-
mond Tucker and Mrs. Clifford
Nordloh, Indianapolis; Edward
Knight and Earl Knight, both of
this city, and Miss Evelyn Knight.
at home.
    In addition, there are five
grandchildren.  Mr. Knight was
the last of a family of five chil-
dren. During his active life he
was a painter.
    Funeral services will be held
at the Ewing mortuary Saturday
afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in
the charge of Dr. J. W. McFall. In-
terment will take place in Forest
Hill cemetery. Friends may call
at the mortuary after noon today.
