Mr. Kirkpatrick was a splendid young man. He loved his home and always tried to make it a happy one. He leaves a large circle of friends to mourn his death.

Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his mother, three sisters and three brothers. He was a member in good standing in the Royal Order of Moose.

Funeral services were held at the house Wednesday morning, Nov. 20, at ten o’clock. Burial at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.

Silently the moon shines down
Upon a treasured grave,
Where sleeps the one we love so dear,
And tried so hard to save.
