Trafalgar area resident Eric Stephen Kirby died Saturday, October 21, 2000, after an automobile accident in Franklin. He was 21.
He was born in Newport News, Virginia, the son of Larry Gray and Connie Sue (Rairdon) Kirby. They survive in Trafalgar.
A construction worker, he had attended Franklin High School.
Mr. Kirby enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, horseback riding and being with his friends.
Other survivors include a stepmother, Bonnie L. Kirby of Trafalgar; a son, Logan Allen Kirby of Trafalgar, maternal grandparents, Charles Rairdon of Shelbyville and Mary Mae Brinson of Shelbyville, a maternal step-grandmother, Ruth Ann Rairdon of Shelbyville, paternal step-grandparents, Jerry and Linda Outcalt of Peoga, a brother, Danny Outcalt of Trafalgar, a sister, Ashley N. Kirby of Trafalgar, and several aunts and uncles.
Reverend Chris Page will conduct a graveside service at 1 p.m. this afternoon, Wednesday, October 23, at Morgantown’s East Hell Cemetery.
Meredith-Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
