OBITUARY.

Elizabeth A. Richardson was born near Unionville, Monroe County, Indi­ana, April 19, 1827. She married Wm. Lang February 2, 1858, to whom three children were born, Sallie F. Paskins, Alice Fesler and Wm. R. Lang, all of whom are living. William Lang, her first husband, died July 30, 1867. She married December 13, 1867, John S. Kephart to whom three children were born, Ale Richardson, Rebecca Wait­man and Andrew J. Kephart, all of whom survive her. She early united with the Missionary Baptist church under the ministry of John W. Ragsdale. Afterwards she united with the Beth­lehem church, living a devoted Chris­tian life until her death.

Died January 20th, 1898, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. T. Paskins, after an illness of but a few hours. The remains were laid to rest in Bethlehem Cemetery. The funeral, conducted by Rev. John Woolfington, was largely at­tended

Two old pioneer mothers and near neighbors departed this life last week, viz: Aunt Betsy Kephart and Aunt Sallie Vories. Aunt [Betsy] Kephart died Thursday, Jan. 20, and was buried Jan. 22 at Bethlehem church on Indian Creek. She died suddenly at the home of her son-in-law, John T. Paskins, where she was on a visit. Aunt Sallie Vories died Monday, Jan 17, and was buried Jan. 18 at Friendship church. Her death resulted after a brief illness of lung fever. These two were among the first settlers of the township.
