We are sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. James Kennedy, of Nineveh. Mrs. Kennedy lived here until a few years ago. She is well and favorably known and leaves a host of friends in this community to mourn her death. She leaves a husband, two sons and one daughter.

Indiana, Death Certificates, 1899–2011, Nineveh, Nineveh Township, Johnson County, Health Officer’s record Number 6, page 132, records that Nancy A.Kennedy died from heart failure caused by convulsions, at 12 o’clock p. m. on 21 Mar 1900 in Nineveh Township, aged fifty-one years, five months and six days, born in Indiana. She was female, white, and married. Her father’s name was James A. Mitchel [sic] and her mother’s maiden name was Elizabeth J. Mitchel [sic]. She was buried in Nineveh on 22 Mar 1900, G. J. M. Wh[illegible], undertaker.
