GREENWOOD.
Mrs. Mary E. Kelley [sic] died Saturday morning, age 49 yrs. Funeral Sunday. She leaves 11 children—was the mother of 13. Another Christian mother called home.

The 1880 US Federal Census for Clark, Johnson County, Indiana records thirty-seven-year-old, Indiana-born farmer John M. Kelly, his twenty-six-year-old, Indiana-born Emma Kelly and their Indiana-born children, eleven-year-old Edward, nine-year-old George, seven-year-old Ida, five-year-old Pinkey, five-year-old Alford and ten-month-old Lilly Kelly.
Indiana Marriages, 1780—1992, database on-line, records that when Alford L. Kelly married Ida Mary Leavitt on 5 Jul 1905, he stated that his parents were John M. Kelly and Mary E. Kemper.
