Rev. J. A. Jordon, a former pastor of the A. M. E. church in this city, died at his home in Brizil [sic], on Monday. His remains were brought to this city Tuesday evening and buried in Greenlawn cemetery, the funeral services being held at the A. M. E. church on Wednesday afternoon.
