PAUL JONES
Paul Francis Jones, 42, Waynesville, Mo., died Friday at Fort Leonard Wood General Hospital at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He had been in failing health.
A native of Franklin, he was born Sept. 11, 1939, to Roy Andrew and Mable Rhoda (Dodd) Jones. He married Diana Smith May 31, 1970. She survives.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign War, both in Waynesville. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
The Rev. Cecil Parkhurst will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin. A military graveside rite will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens by the honor guard of Fort Benjamin Harrison. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Other survivors include three sons, James Anthony, Eric Wayne and John Michael Jones, all at home; two brothers, John Jones of Westport and David Jones of Shelbyville and three sisters, Betty Lisby, Indianapolis, Geraldine Lisby, Shelbyville, and Deloris Hancock, St. Cloud, Fla.
