Reuben Jackson, recently a brakeman on the Fairland, Franklin & Martinsville road, died Saturday night of consumption at his home in this city. Deceased was in his twentieth year. The funeral occurred Monday morning.
Note: The Johnson County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, page 103, referencing Book H-16, page 28, records that Rhenben [sic] Jackson, a nineteen-year-old colored male, died 9 Jan 1892 in Franklin.
