Julia Jackson, sister of Jordan Jackson, colored, well known as a former resident of Franklin and cook in different restaurants, died Saturday at Indianapolis. The remains were brought here Monday for burial.
Note: The Marion County Indiana WPA Death Index, 1882–1920, referencing Book H-7, page 12, records that Julia Jackson, a thirty-year-old colored female, died 6 Feb 1897 in Indianapolis.
