John Hyde died at his residence in Edinburg last Thursday afternoon after a brief illness. He was seventy-two years of age, having been born in Ireland in 1819. He had been a citizen of Edinburg for thirty-eight years. The funeral took place from the Catholic church, Saturday morning, Father Oster officiating.
