FRANKLIN
Nina E. Huppert
      Nina E. Huppert, 84, died Sunday at Franklin 
United Methodist Home.  She was a resident of 
Franklin and a former resident of Indianapolis.
      She was born Aug. 15, 1910, in Kremlin, 
Okla.  Her parents were Charles T. Bowman and 
Hattie F. (Miller) Bowman.  She married Delmar 
P. Huppert Aug. 24, 1935, in Indianapolis.  He 
preceded her in death Aug. 21, 1989.  Survivors 
include a son, Charles B. Huppert of Indianapolis; 
a daughter, Susan D. Long of Indianapolis; two 
sisters, M. Edith Roberts of Greenwood and Mabel 
F. Spacke of Cathy's Valley, Calif.; and four grand-
children.  She also was preceded in death by a brother, 
Dallas Bowman.
      She was employed by the University of Indian-
apolis as a secretary for 15 years, retiring in 1973.  
She also had been a secretary at Crescent Paper Co. 
for many years.
      She was a member of University Heights United 
Methodist Church, University Heights Book Club 
and Homemakers Club of Perry Tri Six.
      A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at 
University Heights United Methodist Church.  There 
are no calling hours.  Burial will be at Rest Haven 
Cemetery in Edinburgh.  G.H. Herrmann Madison 
Avenue Funeral Home in Indianapolis is handling 
the arrangements.  
      Memorial contributions may be made to the 
American Cancer Society or the Society of the 
Alzheimer's Association.
